Will ECS (Elegance Coral Syndrome) Spread through frags?

I have a newly aquired elegance coral wich is showing symptons of ecs. I just put it into my frag tank as to get it out of my dt which has a very healthy elegance in it already.

If its in my frag tank, is it possible to have the frags become carriers of this disease if I plan on moving frags anytime soon into my dt with an existing elegance?

Im pretty sure it is ecs but maybe its just dying or maybe it can pull through??

Here it is when I first got it late last week, I thought it had some swelling but tentacles were still out and I chalked it up to light adjustment.

Is it possible the mucus is a reaction to the lugols...do elegance corals shed normally after dipping?
