Would fish be ok living in rubbermaif tank for a month or two? Planning on buying some new fish and hosted in the rubbermaid until its ready for my new setup.
My concern is that they might not see food i feed them

As long as its heated and has a powerhead for flow and you're doing regular water changes on it, should be ok :) As long as there is ambient light in the room they'll find the food :)

I worries that the rubbermaid is too enclosed that might caused fish to hide till they die

Many may prefer it to a glass sided aquarium.

It makes the best QT tank in the world, go for it

Are you going to have any type of lighting over the tub?If you are looking to use it for quarntine it would be hard to look the fish from up above.

I think OP is just using it as a temporary holding tank.

That is correct, i currently have my new liverocks in the 100g rubbermaid for curing. I was planning on buy some more fish and quarantine in it and wait till my new tank is setup. Wich probably in a month or 2 hopefully.
The rubbermaid is currently lid by reefbrite tech blue led

Used one when my 300 tank leaked .The fish were in it for 6 months before the new tank was up and running. They were fine and I think they can smell the food to help them find it if there is not a lot of light
