Will Fresh Air for skimmer help ?

If I add an outside line to feed my skimmer fresh air, will this help with PH and airation ? Is it worth doing?

Yes, it should help. It may not solve a low pH issue but it certainly won't hurt. You'd just have to try and see what happens.

Yes it will help if c02 is a problem in your home.. to test this out put some water in a cup and take it outside with a air bubbler for a hour so and then check the ph of that said water.. if it’s higher than that’s your problem and a skimmer line outside or ph scrubber would help

I will say, I left my window open by the tank over night and the PH stayed at 8.17 as oppose to 8.12 low and was able to bounce back quicker during the day.

I wish I could do that! In the spring my ph ran 8.3-8.5 and now it’s 118° in Vegas my house is locked up and I’m struggling to keep 7.9-8.1 with a ton of kalk in my top off.. I’m trying different things before I blow a hole in my house and my girl pushes me out of it!

I hear ya...I'm going to leave the window open and see how it does.
