If mixed together and left for 2 weeks in a 5 gallon bucket, I am planning on mixing fw with copper power and leaving it next to my qt tank for evaporation.. will freshwater reduce its ppm?/copper/amount?

Unless you are performing water changes, your copper levels in QT will not change with evaporation so there is no need to top off with copperpower dosed to the FW.

Just fyi.

Do you have a HR hanna copper checker or are you just winging it based on dosing instructions on the bottle?
