Will gold stay gold?

Hello,

I have two hammer corals. One is bright gold (branching) and the other is a gold stem with purple tip (wall). I noticed the gold stem purple tip are growing out new polyps that are brown stem... will they turn gold later on? And will the bright gold hammer stay gold or will it eventually turn brown?

Is it a new coral to your tank? It could be the light difference that they are in your tank now vs. the tank that you bought them from

Been there for a few months. It’s as gold as when I got them. Just the new polyps are brown stem.
