I picked up a 40g breeder for QT since a Naso I'm currently treating seems cramped in the 20L. I've been ramping up copper in the 20L and would like to match the copper level in the 40. I'm. It sure if the furan2 in the 20 will throw off my Hanna checker reading?

I figure it has 18g of water in the 20L and I've dosed 14ml of copper power up to this point. 29.5ml would give me 2.5ppm in 20g of water. So I'm estimating I'm around 1.25 currently but would like to verify that. I'll be shooting for 1la therapeutic level of 1.75ppm.

Thanks

Matt

It will work fine, that's the reason you take 2 measurements, so it can calibrate the vial for the 2nd reading. I have taken readings in both with no problem.
