Picture says it all. I’ve gotten 10 new
zoas, and put it about two inches from my existing green implosion Palythoa mutukis, which have been in the tank for like 15 months now and have grown from two or three small polyps to what you see there.

Will the greens outcompete the new ones if I leave them where they are, you think? Should I move the new ones elsewhere?

Eta: I think the tradename is green implosion, not explosion. Haha

Thanks! Is this kind of green Paly considered invasive/nuisance by some folks?

(FYI, I will assume that the greens well as the mandarin ones may contain palytoxin)

You are correct, those green palys are a pain in the butt and are noxious. As mentioned they'll out compete most stuff. At the very least I'd isolate them but in my case I'm trying to completely remove them from my system.

:( Not what I wanted to hear, of course. But thank you!
