Hi,
I’m wondering if I will get enough flow under the rock the rock is shaped like a dome?
If not will it cause any problems in the long run?
I’m planning to put a wavemaker later
FYI my tank is a Red Sea max nano g2 xl

Soon I hope. That is not really a piece of equipment you can do without.

With adequate flow in the tank, caves are not a problem. They are great for your fish health. I have many similar caves in my scape. They do get less flow, but you won’t be growing any corals in there anyways. Typically they become cryptic zones and harbor good filter feeders, sponges, and detritus eaters. All part of a healthy ecosystem.
