I know nothing about the above doser. When I get more advanced I plan on Calcium. I have an excellent reactor. Will I still need a doser? I havent gotten to this point yet... i know zero about dosers yet... my now ex gave it to me way back. Ignore other two things.

Those two tools (dosing pump and regulator) are likely for different methods (although a CaCO3/CO2 reactor that uses a regulator does use a pump of some sort). There are many ways to dose calcium and alkalinity. This explanation of methods may help:

Ya, my regulator can be functional.

Yup. freshwater. I've done zero reading into that area because Im not thrilled.

I need to get rid of stuff in the unsure if it serves a purpose pile. Thank u. :)

All you need is the auto dosing pump. The rest of that stuff doesn't have anything to do with setting up your doser... keep it simple with 2 part and you'll be surprised how easy it is.

Lol, right. The other two I should of removed. Ill google it. I just need to get rid of unconvertable equipment. Thanks.

Id also suggest dosing by hand first so you know what your tank is consuming. That way you control your perimeters and don't get frustrated making adjustments on the doser. Once it's consistent, move on to the doser.
