I am planning to add my diamond goby to the display tank tonight . It has been in QT for 26 days . I have just two questions if you reef peeps could help me out.

1) Will my adorned wrasse attack it ? The last fish I added was a common clown and the wrasse was obsessed for over a week until he finally accepted the clown

2 ) While I wait to see aggression I was planning on putting the goby in my acclimation box where he is safe if there is attacks or aggression. Will staying in the acclimation box in the top of the tank stress the goby out ? I know they prefer to be in the sand and bottom of the reef not the surface. It would only be a few hours hopefully if I see no aggression from the wrasse

THanks for any and all answers and advice in advance !

I would add after lights out, like 30 or so minutes after. Also, Diamond gobies have a cool self defense tactic. Sort of like jawfish, they open thier mouth up all the way to make a statement.

Oh cool yeah I see him do this the first week in QT I thought he was having difficulty breathing . Makes sense he was trying to intimidate me haha . Still 26 days after QT I cant even look at him without him hiding very timid fish I am hoping this changes in the display tank .......

I don’t really know much about those wrasses, but usually wrasses don’t bother gobies. Especially larger ones. I’d say just put it directly into the tank while the lights are off or low. Or you can feed the tank when you add the fish if you have the lights on and the fish are active. But the fish should do fine since it’s in a sand substrate and can feed naturally. Just make sure you acclimate the fish, and you should be ok.

I use the same salt on both tanks and the tempature and salinity is the same I was planning on just moving him right over without a drip acclimate. think it should be fine ?

as long as temp, salinity and pH are the same, should be no issues.
