I have a nice chunky piece of rock which has lots of amphipods and copepods on it. If I take it out and put it in a separate small tank with saltwater at the same parameters will they breed?? ( I’ll add an air stone and dose phyto)
Also can I add dove snails in as well to clear up the detritus???

I think you will need a heater and light as well.
