Will kalkwasser kill bubble tip anemones?

Hi. We had an aiptasia problem so we used kalkwasser paste to take care of it, however, a glob of kalkwasser landed on our rainbow bubble tip anenome. Will our anenome die?

Depends on the size of the BTA, the size of the dollop of kalkwasser paste, and the length of exposure.

Hopefully u blew off what u could, it'll burn the flesh probably not enough to kill it but may have caused damaged to that spot just depends like Hds4216 said

Funny I’m coming across this post. I dose directly into my display (no sump) and I knocked off some calcium buildup from the dosing tube into the water which proceeded to land directly on my BTA. I’m guessing it mistook it for food because it closed up and shrunk. Thought it was a goner. This morning I have two bta now and both seem to be doing great.

It split because of the stress event. Reproducing to d=save itself, even though they are both fine. lol

One reason I'll never have a BTA.
