Will leptoseris grow on tank wall?

I am looking to add a lepto to the plastic back wall of my nano's sump and am wondering if a yellow lepto would encrust flat and/or spread evenly. thanks

I cut it back and put on frag plugs. Once it got settled in, its a fast grower.
