I have 2 new dwarf lion fish and I’m going to feed them ghost shrimps. I tried putting one in my tank and a wrasse snatched it and pushed it inside a cave where it was never seen again. I think the wrasse ate it.

I have tangs, foxface, wrasse, anthias, damsels, and gobies.

Do these fish steal the lion fish’s food? I assume I can combat this by feeding more, but I just want to know which other fish will hunt?

Anything big enough to fit a ghost shrimp in its mouth will eat ghost shrimp. Some aggressive fish (like some wrasses) will tear shrimp apart, if they can't fit it into their mouth whole. The tangs and foxface probably won't be interested? But the rest might be, depending on size and personality.

Make sure to gut-load properly.

How do you properly gut load?

Feed your feeders a healthy, nutritionally rich diet, both in general and shortly before being given to your predator fish, so they'll have it in their gut when eaten.

I have NSW pellets with probiotics and spirulina algae pellets
