I purchased a small fox coral about a week ago. I didn't notice until today though it looks like the fleshy part of the coral has started to become unattached to the hard part of the body. The coral seems otherwise happy. It stays open and has actually gotten bigger and developed more color since I have placed it in my tank. Is there anything I should or could do though for it? It's a beautiful coral and I'd hate to lose it.

It looks fine to me. I would just leave it alone for the next week or so and see what happens.

As far as the tissue separating from the skeleton goes, the polyp might be getting ready to bailout. This isn't necessarily a good thing IMO, but there can be a silver lining sometimes.
