My Scuba Steve Euphilia was recently hit with a huge assault from flatworms. If i am able to get this pest under control do you think that some of these heads pictured would survive? In the photo you can see some of the heads are showing skeleton, but this coral is one of my oldest and i would hate to lose it.

Lots of them look fine. How are you treating the flatworms?
I just dipped them 2 days ago and other threads talk about dipping them weekly with pretty good success. I also brushed as much of the eggs off that I can, but for some reason once I take it out of the water I am blind and cannot see them haha

Yes usually I fill a larger container with tank water big enough to scrub the coral. I am blind as well once it leaves the water lol.

Would it be better if I were to just remove the heads that look like a lost cause? Avoiding bjd should probably be the second biggest threat for me to worry about.

Only if you feel they are a lost cause. I wouldn't unless I see further deterioration after tackling the flatworms. I'd then iodine dip and wait 24hrs. If I can't stop it. Then yes the heads got to go.

Here is a new photo of some damaged heads that have been recovering. I have dipped the frogspawn a total of 3 times, but i couldnt see any identifiable flatworms.

Defiantly looking much better now. Just stay on it as you know, things can take a turn quick in one day.
