Will my Hammer coral survive?

I caught my emerald crab picking at my hammer coral a few nights ago. He has not done it since but he did do some damage. The damaged hammer heads have turned into one big glob. Below is a video and picture, will he survive? CE225407-F349-4D42-87C2-CDB5C01472DB.jpeg

From my experience if the polyp is bailing then it’s toast. If it looks still rooted in its skeleton then it’ll probably be fine!

Looks like bjd starting.This usually spreads to the rest of the coral and it’s doomed. Sometimes it can heal on its own, other times not. If you see it start to spread you can try dipping in 3% h2o2. Then dip in saltwater and with a pippette blow off the infected area and return to the tank.
