Will my stung montipora recover?

Hi, my new montipora had just started encrusting prior to my BTA moving next to it one night. I moved the coral the following day but it appears damage was already done.

Fast forward two weeks and it looks like this. Is it likely to recover?

Any advice?

Yes it will recover with time. Had several of my own get stung and recover just fine.
