Will my tank work for a bubble tip anenome?

Hey guys and girls I recently just got a 14 gal bio cube and have it cycling right now! It's been a week and I'm starting to plan on what I'm going to do with the tank. IV had a 10 gallon with a gbta and a pair of clowns that I gave to my father cause he liked it so much. I'm just curious to see if the lights in the biocube are good enough to provide the right amount of light for the bta. I'm planning on doing clowns and a bta again and maybe some coral after the anenome finds where it's comfortable. If you have any advice or know if the biocubes lights are good please comment and let me know! Thanks so much

I have kept BTA under the stock PC lighting long term without issue. You must however change out the PC bulbs more often than you might have to with easier soft corals. The problem with the 14 gallon is making sure the SG does not swing too wildly, an ATO is a really good idea.

What's sg and ato?

Salinity is SG and Automatic Top Off is ATO. for a small tank like that water will evaporate and when that happens your SG is going to fluctuate. So you really should have an ATO to keep it as balanced as you can, especially if you want an anemone.

Sg Is specific gravity of your saltwater. You want to test and keep It around 1.025, 1.026. Ato Is auto top off that replenishes your water when It evaporates automatically with a controlling device which senses when the water level is low and then it will turn on a pump to refill the tank.

Just google it, the ones I've seen go for 40ish up to around 80 I think. Just look around.

Also google DIY ATO.. I have a DIY version of one. Works great and I think it cost me like $20.

The anemone can reach more than 12" in diameter once its fully grown. That should be considered because it will take up most of the tank eventually and not leave much room for anything else.

No need, anything can go in your tank if your parameters are good and maintain those parameters. People can buy "live cycled rock" which should work immediately. As for our friend, he said he had it in a 10g so I'm assuming he just up sized to a bit bigger tank.
But as Pete said,, be carful. Mine grew from 6" to 12" in just 3-4 months

What are your water perimeters? I think the longer you let you cycled rock sit it will start to lose bb unless your supplementing with ammonia?

The tanks is a week old just put the rock in today going to let that sit for a little then start testing the tank
