I have an Acan colony who’s base seems to be attracting a couple feather dusters and I think is aggravating it. One of them has a pretty decent sized crown. I feel like I read somewhere that peps will eat them. Is that true?

Not usually. I have only seen them go after corals and inverts if they are really hungry. There are about half a dozen types of peppermints and some are more prone to eat coral than others, but for the most part starving them to eat feather dusters is not a great plan.

Just break the feather dusters off or squirt some kalk paste on them.

I thought about dipping it in coral rx to see if they would just jump out, but maybe I’ll pluck them. It’s so weird they’re nowhere else in the tank that I can see.

You don't have to get them out... destroying their homes can kill them too. Are you sure that they are feather dusters? Most of the time those die out since they cannot get enough to eat and they rarely spread. Are you sure that they are not aiptasia or vermitelid snails?

on the far right is the biggest crown and tube in shadow and to the left are some fanning towards the shot. I think they are Dusters from researching? But I absolutely could be wrong lol.

Take that little frag out and cut those babies off with some bone cutters or other fragging shears. Easy job. Get the tubes too. Wash it in a glass of tank water when you are done and put it back in.
