For those who have a dedicated section in your sump for filter sock, does running your sump with the socks in the sock holder cause noise from the water dumping into the 4-7" holes for the sock?
I'm looking at sumps where there is a degassing section for the drain, which then overflows into the filter sock section. If I wanted to run the sump without filter socks besides for maintenance, will this cause water noise?
