Fedex delay and my order will take 2 days instead of over night
Think the frags will make it?

Depends a lot on the temperatures along it's journey. If it's not super cold and was packed well it may be ok. I'd give it a better than 50/50 shot of making it

They did the same thing to me,,,$2000 worth,,,none survived..all were bleached white...

If the temp where they are delayed is colder then it’s probably not going to end well. If they have 40+ hour heats packs there is some hope, though slim.

If the temp doesn't vary you should have a good chance of them surviving.
I would think that if it was shipped for "overnight" and it was delayed Fed Ex is responsible for any loss.

Depends. If the delay was weather caused, that isn’t covered by fedex or their insurance. If it was something like a plane mechanical delay, and the shipper fully insured it, there is a chance. But that’s up to the shipper to try and make the claim, not the recipient.

Remember that heat packs typically will stop functioning in temperatures 32 and below.
To expand on that, that’s if the temp inside the box gets that low, at which point the coral are long dead. :( But generally it’s safe to ship in temps as low as 15F at source/hub/destination if you pack it right! :D

I ordered corals online twice this month and both times the box got held up and took an extra day to arrive. The boxes both had heat packs but none of the corals survived.

They have made it home alive but all rtn after entering my tank.
Guess they were too stressed :(

Dang man, sorry to hear. Had a feeling it would be close. Hopefully someone can do something for ya

During the winter season is like playing a roulette game, you really want it the bad then go ahead and take the chance. I usually pay a deposit to hold the acros for me until the weather is more predictable, if the vendor says no then I am not going to order, it's not about the money it's about that beautiful acro that has less than 50% chance of arriving alive on your front steps, East coast weather is unforgiving this time of the year.
