I can't seem to find an answer. Will clay terracotta pots in a QT tank absorb medication?

Any unglazed ceramics will absorb meds. And you have to be careful that any ceramics you put in, glazed or not, don't have lead in them. Some glazes are loaded with it.

Additionally, many glazes have copper in them, which is why PVC is a preferred QT item. It is fairly benign, cheap to toss after treatment, and will absorb meds minimally, if at all.

You could use plastic aquarium decorations as well if the pvc look didn’t appeal. They tend to get pricey though. And makes getting any fish out of qt harder since easier to hide in a network of dark caves then white pipes.

Agree with above clay pots will absorb medications.
