Hello everyone,

I recently setup a 40 Gallon aquarium and the stand had four legs with foam/felt pads under the feet.
I just changed the stand for it to a Aquatic Fundamentals 50/65 Gallon stand. This stand has a flat bottom and I was wondering if I left it to stand bare-bottom with no foam/felt if in anyone's experience it would damage engineered wood flooring.

The stand:

Not if you have the right floor.
I’m getting some install in a couple of weeks and the company says it’s commercial grade and can handle the tank.

Cheap laminate might get dimpled/scratched but then again it will suffer far more from any water spills. Engineered flooring that has a thin real wood veneer on the top should be fine.
