will there be chlorine and chloramine after cleaning filter socks?

I currently soak filter socks in tap water with few capful of bleach overnight and let it soak with tap water and air dry until its completely dry. Will this completely get rid of chlorine and chlormaine? Sometimes eventhough its dried well i smell little bleach. Im afraid theres might be even a little chlorine or chlormaine left and it might have harmful affects.

Sorry if this has been asked a 100 times but my filter socks are looking a little brownish and I just wondered if it's ok to soak in a bleach/water solution for a few days and then rinse off with tap water and leave to dry? Without killing the inhabitants of my reef tank? Just seems bleach and...

There could be some. If you are worried, use a few drops of dechlor in the rinse

I throw my socks in the washer machine with a capful of bleach. Then I typically soak them in water with seachem prime.

I soak my socks in water with bleach. When I’m done washing them I always give a final soak / rinse with a bit of Seachem Prime.
