Will these clown fish pair together?

1 percula and 1 ocellaris clown fish. Both under 1 inch but the percula is a little smaller. They just don’t seem too interested in each other but they are swimming/keeping close to each other, however that’s no always it. I just lost my pair of fully bonded clown fish so maybe I’m used to that.

If they aren't killing each other, they are well on the way to becoming a pair.

Maybe. Sometimes the species bond - sometimes not.

Okay thanks. The haven’t show any aggression to each other but I expected that when they are deciding who is who
