Will these things kill my corals/annoy them?

silicates - sometimes

Use store bought distilled water instead of tap if you have no RODI, itll save you hell in the long run.

diatoms - sometimes

depends on the coral

tank is a few months old. My planned corals are zoasa toadstools and xenias

i think they'll be fine... no guarantees though, depending on how bad diatoms are and whats in the tap water. tank params? lights?
