So last night I I decided to do some maintenance and manually remove any hair algae I could reach. Scrubbed it off with a toothbrush. . .
While I was in the tank I decided to take on this bubble coral, it had a TON of vermetid snails on it. I used a metal scraper to remove/break what shells I could, the. rinsed the debris off with RO water. . .
I wasn’t surprised see the coral retracted. . . But this morning it appears unchanged. Does it just need more time?

just give it more time, bubble corals can come back from a lot of damage. Low flow, low light

as long as the foot is fine, and it is not 100% bleached, it will likely be okay.
I think you may have misread that, not a BTA so no foot, but a bubble coral. They can come back from seemingly anything
