I like the looks of the fresnel lens, it is sort of a flood and spot light in one.check out the Illumagic blaze x mini
Oh, I missed that you're in Oz. No idea what LED pricing is like there, but I think you'd be much better off with a "black box" reef led in the 30-60W range or a secondhand "brand name" LED like something from Ai, Ecotech or Kessil. For a small tank with softies, there are tons of "black box" reef LEDs on Amazon for less, and with great features like scheduling and intensity ramps. A Kessil A80 tuna blue runs $140 new and $100ish used, just need to add a basic timer. Down the road you could always upgrade to a spectral controller if you have the budget and want to play around more, but shouldn't be necessary for low light requirement corals.
I've heard nicrew being talked about as a low budget light option. So I found these two lights and was just wondering if this type would work and also whether to go with a 50 watt or 100 watt. Dimensions of tank 61cm long 30cm wide 37cm tall.
