Will this sponge take over my zoas?

Noticed the sponge popped up pretty quick. It’s on the underside of a few plugs but this was the first morning I noticed it between any polyps. Until this morning, these polyps were fully opened. Should I be worried? This is the first time I have seen something like this

just scrape it off with a rubber tipped dental pick
(or super gently with a blunt toothpick)

That's a great tool to have. I get a lot of use out of mine. Just cut the tip off if it's too pointy.
