Will this stand support this tank?

I need to set up a QT and I just picked up this 10 gallon tank for it. I already had a stand for a 20 long (the Brooklyn metal stand from petco).

Even though the tank isn't as long as the stand, do you think the stand will support it?

Do you think it is ok to use?

Put a piece of solid, straight plywood across the top. you could even paint it to make it look purdy.
