I just received a Psammacora sps as a freebie with an online order, but I only have softies and a few lps in my 10 gal tank (so not super stable with parameters). I assume that I need to give this away because it's just going to die. Am I right?

You should be fine. They do have a steady growth rate but do not sting surrounding coral
Assure stinging Coral not within 3” of it

Most sps corals are easy. What makes sps tanks difficult is that you have lots of them sucking up alkalinity quickly. A single sps coral in a field of softies should thrive.
