Will this work for a fuge light?

Middle section here is what I want to use. I want to use cheato. Dimensions of the sump are 19-3/4"W x 16-1/2"L x 13"H.

I don't really have a nutrient problem, should I still run a refugium? I just thoight it would be cool to run one lol.

Any input is appreciated.

There are pluses and minuses to running a Fuge. Always have one on my tank whenever I can. Helps with nutrient exporting, helps elevate PH, a place for pods to reproduce.

My Ph has always been 8 or higher. usually 8.2 to 8.4, but I've never tested it in the middle of the night. I still want to add one though lol. I'm thinking as long as I don't strip out all of the nutrients in the tank I should be OK.

It's on my amazon list for when fuge time comes someday.

Ok, I ordered that one. I will give that one a go and see how it does. My only concern now is mounting it lol. This ought to be fun.

It has rings on the top to be hung from above.
Maybe you can use weed trimmer line to hang? Won't rust and strong enough to support the light.

That's a good idea. I was thinking about using that hanging like for pictures but your suggestion may be better. I guess I could anchor it to both sides of the cabinet and possibly also the back wall. Maybe using eye screws? Does that sound right. Haha I'm so not handy it's funny. Biggest concern of course is keeping the light from taking a swim.

Phil, any light that doesn't power a fuge, set up around your money tree for a few extra fifties. Or send me a light or a frag/graft of your tree. I'm disappointed in my $ tree, all it grows is roots and no fruit!?
