So my Xenia I got the day I set up this tank almost 6 months ago and it has grown like a weed! It had so many new branches on it and they are thick and healthy and long but here's my question a piece has finally broke off of it and attached itself to my zoa garden rock is this going to cause problems? Will the Xenia suffocate my zoas are sting them? What should I do? Should I cut off the piece that has attached to the zoa rock? Here is a picture sorry for the quality but at the bottom of the rock on the left side it's hard to see but a piece of the Xenia broke off and has now made that it's home

The xenia wont sting them but it will grow and suffocate the zoas, eventually blocking the light from them. Xenia is a nice beginner coral and its super easy, but can be very invasive. I would remove it from the zoas.

Yea I got it to see if I could keep it alive and it's going crazy now and I appreciate my bam bam and sunny D and monster eye zoas more than my Xenia lol

I've ha.d Xenia in my system for a couple decades and it can be problematic. You do want to stay on top of it so it does requre more maintenance than a system without it but it can be very eye catching when people see a large patch of it waving their fronds. I use steel straws with water changes to help control it.
