Hello all I am running a generation 3 radion and a reef Brite xho strip on my 24x24x24 cube I was thinking about building a new canopy and with that adding two 24 inch t5hos just to eliminate some shading. If it requires more I'll probably just get more xhos thanks everyone who chimes in in advance

I think you will absolutely notice a difference with 2 T5s. I added two t5s to a reefbreeder and it was a night and day difference.

I have a 72 gal and literally added 2 bulb 24w 2ft fixture today on mine and it helps out alot with shading. Now i will just have to wait to see the long term effects.I had a petco going out of business in the area and scored a new light for 50%off and it was well worth it.

I added 2 to my Radion and it helps!

I use a T5/LED hybrid and love it. The LEDs give me par and the T5s fill in the shadows. So, yes it would be worth looking at doing. Use ATI bulbs, best par IMHO.

which fixture are you using with your radion?
