There is clear UV blocking window tint available, used on car windows. I have an aquarium that faces a window. It’s about 12 feet away from the window but indirect sunlight hits the front of it.

wondering if the clear tint is clear enough as to not cause any change in appearance. I know some shops will put it in car windshields.

UV “might” be a good thing …I dunno but are your trying to block heat or cut down on algae?

If it’s the algae, I’ve always said worrying about light causing algae is like a Los Angeles smoker blaming COPD on the smog

if it’s heat, then I’d shade it in general
