So with the winter weather coming the next few days to all of us in the upper midwest, who is prepared?


I was outside verifying the generator tonight. The battery stockpile is filled to the brim. Battery air pumps are in the house and ready to fire up if needed...


What do you have set up to be prepared for the potential of bad weather or other disasters?

I have nothing. Well I have a couple of optima batteries I could hook up to my powerhead if I really needed to. I am going to have to get a generator so I can run my furnace and part of my tank.

Just kidding, kind of playing on the whole "prepper" mentality, as though I'll have to protect my reef from invaders when government collapses. I have a Honda EU2000 when ice snaps the power lines
