Well anyone else have fun getting home last night? I left work at 6pm and got home at 10pm. that was a total of 20 miles. I found the ditch twice, stopped to help dozens of other cars out of the ditch and final had to abandone my truck. Got a buddy with a tow truck buissness and they got two of there roll backs stuck trying to get to me. finally got a buddy with good snow tread and 4wheel drive to try and take me home. He was able to get me withing a mile and I got to walk the rest of the way home helping two more people out of the ditch on that trip! LOL! just curious if anyone else had some interesting trips home?

I got off work at 4:00. I didn't have any trouble getting home, but the roads weren't covered yet. This morning was a little fun, but 3 years living in Wisconsin made my trip fairly painless. Course, up there, they put salt down if it smells like snow. This melting and re-freezing stuff gets pretty dangerous. I heard sever co-workers unable to get to their house, having to park and walk the rest of the way because of icy hills.

Im used to driving in snow, but the crap ice around here and lack of salt trucks is crazy. If I had prepared and put some weight in the bed of my truck I would have been fine. but zero weight and rear wheel drive dont do well on ice!

I stayed home..but Ryan had to leave his car at the bottom of our neighborhood and walk the rest of the way after nearly getting ran over by a few maniacs who didn't know what they were doing.

LOL, I hear ya on that. I picked up my formula from the shop and having a new clutch and lightweight flywheel put in. Try driving a RWD with a new clutch and almost 400HP on ice ... but I needed my car back lol. Luckily most of the roads I had to travel on weren't too bad. But I had a hard time even leaving my house in a friends car, I didn't even try driving back up the hill in mine! Stayed with family for the night in Jasper.. and oddly enough their roads were better than most of the ones in chatt *shrug*
