Hello Everyone,

I figured it was about time to get a Tank thread started on R2R. It has been up and running since last July. I am going to copy over some of the info and old pics from my local Reef club tank thread.

Here it is:

I bought a 92g corner tank on craigs list about a month ago and figured its about time to get a thread started for it.

Here is what came with the setup:

92g corner tank.
2 X SOL AI Led Penants with Controller
Reef Octapus cone skimmer
Reef Keeper Light
Auto fish feeder
Return pump (forgot what model offhand)
3 X Tunze pumps
about 90 or so lbs live rock
ATO setup

Almost all the corals I brought home survived except acro colony. Saved a few frags of it before it RTN'd out. Fragged a few things like the blue Monti and some wild blue zoas to begin paying off some of the costs of the tank.

I had to wheel and deal with the wife to get the OK and promised her that I would sell corals and my nano tanks to pay for it.

I had 2 months to do it as I used our Vacation money

Got most of it paid off already actually. Corals sold much quicker than I expected. Got about 20% of the cost to recoup still and a month to do it. Just might be able to keep the Nems now.

Here is a few pics I took this week.

Still trying to stablize the tank. Messed around with the rock work, coral placement and circulation this week as the tank has been doing well.

a little diatoms on the sandbed but all the corals are doing well coloring up real nice.

Pic from May: new SPS colony

Some guy near me was shutting down a nice 300g tank and I came by and picked up some nice pieces.

This large SPS is one of em. CAN anyone ID it?

Also the purple and orange Zoas behind the Rics on the left I got also. Really bright.

I also got this big rock that has some nice stuff on it:

I was told the top coral is "I want to sex you up Mycedium". The bottom one I am not sure but another Mycedium.

Also has a large colony of The Green with orange center Zoas, A green BTA with purple tips small, and some coni anem or something on the back side.
Nice big rock though.

Here are some pics from last month:

I will try to get some new pics sometime this week and post.

Thanks for looking.

Good looking tank have the same exact tank. Haven't set it up yet after seeing yours I might have to now.

Turned into a fantastic tank.

Wow that's alot of coral

haha yea, dont really know how I fit so much in here without killing anything. There is so much more in the tank that I dont have listed here as it was just getting too hard to keep up with everything I add in. Pics just cant show all the corals I have stuffed in nooks and crevices of the rocks.

How do you like your AI Sols? I have two over a 50 gallon. I've got mine 12 inches off the water and on about 20% at the high point of the day. I'm looking to get Hydras sometime next year to have much more color variations throughout the day.
