Don't judge -- this was a rush job after an older stand began to crack.

Check out the pictures attached here. Looking for ideas on how I might manage the wiring all currently nested behind the tanks. There is storage at the base of the stand -- but no direct access -- that open shelf is in between.

I'd welcome your thoughts and expertise!

You could add plywood to that back of the stand or attach raceway directly to what you have. Something like this:

Search for 'cable management' for other options.

The cable raceways are great - They come in black, white, grey and maybe even almond. They come in up to 4"x4" sizes and 100 sizes down to 1x1. From experience buying the cheapest doesn't always turn on the best, the plastic is more rigid (harder to move wires in/out) making it harder to run the wires and fit the covers on/off.

The other key thing for you wire management is buy/borrow a really good Labelmaker. Label every plug, every cord, every outlet. While you may understand your rats nest when an emergency happens and you have to guide someone through your spaghetti - those lil labels can make all the different in the world as to what to pull and where to plug things back into.
