So I have an Apex along with two eb832 and a ton of equipment. It all in a cabinet I made, but the wires are a mess behind the tank and driving me crazy. How do you all deal with that?

Pics would be helpful as well.

Thanks

Personally I haven’t managed my wires well but I don’t have many yet. But what I reccomend from seeing people do it really well is
1. Label what wire is what eg sump, pump, light, powerhead, heater etc
2. Find a convenient powerboard ideally surge protected and can turn individual things on and off and is a short distance away from the tank so it dosnt get wet but is close
3. Cable ties are your friend, try to run your cables in a way that is organised and subtle eg your light cable along the light and back down a bracket that holds it up,
Things that I’ve done wrong, don’t use blue tack it messes up the wires long term, tape dosnt hold them long term, don’t make too sharp turns with wire because it can fray quite bad

The cable raceways @Jeight linked above work out great and what I would have recommended had that not.

Thanks everyone, very helpful. I have ordered the raceways and will give them a try.

I just used the same wireways along with cable wrap to tidy up my cable mess.

These Velcro straps also came in handy: https://m.lowes.com/pd/VELCRO-0-5-in-Multicolor-Strap-Fastener/3017542
