Wondered of any one could help me . Due to still living at home a managed to persuade my parents to let my have my new tank down stairs , on the condition that I only use 1 or 2 plugs leaving the aquarium

I have seen bits of kit you can't get for ponds that will let you remove the plug and wire up to 5 cables into it each with it's own separate switch

Dose any one know of I could use a small circuit board that you use for the power in your house on there? Seems to me it's a safer option if it will work

Thanks for the time reasons dudes x

Apologies people . I meant fuse board like the one you have in your house with the circuit breakers on it not a bloody circuit board haha, need sleep sorry

Run an extension cord to your stand, and use the 5n1

I was going to do that as a last resort dude , because I'm going to need about 10 sockets for what I'm putting on the tank

why not just get a dj strip ?? this is what mine looks like it has 8 switches on it ...

Never heard of a jd strip before lol . I'm from England so may be called something different over hear but I shall defiantly have a look into it thanks mate

Just had a look and they are just like the extensions we get here . Only problem being is that the plugs we use are a heck of a lot bigger which it way I was looking at the fuse board , when my sump is installed I won't have much room to play with so was trying to find the smallest option

These are the things I have been looking at recently , but because I don't know anything about pond gear could you use these with your aquarium ?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use those. As long as you are confident in wiring them.

From what I gather you just remove the plug on the end of the cable and wire it on like you would another plug , each outlet has it's own fuse and it's own switch , also cuts down on lots of space which is a bonus for me :) but thank you for the help :)
