Well, i just did the dose for red bugs. In 6 hours im going to do the reccomended 25% water change and then run carbon. I tried to save my skunk cleaner shrimp and was able to catch 2 of the 3. Unfortunately i couldnt save my sally lightfoot, (whom i have never had a problem with). I also was able to save several of my acro crabs and put them in my nano even though i wont be able to catch them again. What a pain. This has taught me a good lesson though. My next tank is going to have a QT tank thats independant of the main system but tapped into the water system for easy filling.

No crabs or shrimp in my tank cuz that interceptor makes sps corals happy again -you'll be fine-run it 8hrs if possible-it just gets going good at the 6hr mark.

its been a year since i've treated my tank for RB, and over a year ago it was quite common to get frags from people with RB's. but since then, i've yet to see any RB's on any frags that i've gotten.

i think over a year ago, many people were shipping frags and either didn't care that they had RB's, or didn't know they had RB's.

i think people have learned allot in the past year in regards to how easy RB treatments are, and people are pretty good about keeping RB's out of their tanks, and try to avoid giving RB's to others.

i throw a whole pill in my 58 and dont do anything except turn my skimmer off for 24 hours

but i dont care about crabs or shrimp

I put in the reccomended dose for my 65 which was around 1/5th a pill after you factor in the live rock. I'll probably dose the same amount again next week.
