Started with 4 polyps July 10th last year from Vivid. A group grow out on another forum. At first they were sloooow grow, then BAM, grew like mad. Already sent a few of the frags to those that bought into them and can't wait to get the others out. need the room.

Yes. I have been slicing LR and drilling holes for frag plugs. Works great.

What lighting do you have the grandis in?? Mine browned out on me awhile ago and i can't seem to get it colored back up

Lookin great, Mike!

I love mohawks, and am so, so pleased I was able to finally pick some up for a decent price from Will at aquasd, too!

they were pretty much tan from shipping, but within the past week they started to develop some nice purple to them.

my favorite are the little gold flecks on them. here you can see they're turning purple. so pretty

Directly under MH. They have to be fed meaty foods to keep them in top condition I found out. Never could keep them for extended periods till I started feeding them.

very very nice Mike... Mohawks have always been one of my favorites... I remember when they came out about about 3-4 years ago... polyps were going for $50-$75 but we all found out they grew pretty well... it's true that they enjoy high lighting to have the best coloration... the babies normally aren't as nice as the adults and also, the growth on the edges don't have the full coloration as the ones exposed to full lights... they look best under MH IMHO but I have seen very nice colrs under T5 as well... again, awesome Mohawks Mike...
