Should Glue this Old Barnacle Cluster on my Base Rock or not. Plus it fits perfectly, with places where small fish can Dart to. Negative, looks too fake, May Harbor Undesirable Algae. The Two Last Pictures show adjoining Rock, they will not be glued together

Visually, the best looking aquascapes often times are a conglomeration of different types of rock/ structures/ textures.

Aquascaping is also a very personal thing to your eye, and built to fit the needs of the inhabitants of your tank.

It looks fine to me there. A Midas blenny would probably love it. If you like it, go for it.

I agree with that above. I think it looks very unique. I think if we all had the same tastes and needs, everyone’s scape would look the same. If for some reason the negatives show up, you can always pull it later.

I love it! looks natural to me. Personally I can't get enough of these shells. They add so many hiding places, which will help your fish co-exist better. Try and have 2-3 hiding places per fish. I've never found the shells to harbor algae any more than rock, if anything less so.
