I would go with @Big G suggestion until we can verify the percentage of formaldehyde contained in Quick Cure.

Okay. I decided to order both. I will report back with an update on the percentages when I receive the products.

Dosing Metroplex was probably sufficient to kill any free floating brook. So, doing that should have prevented the spread of those parasites to other fish.

All the fish came out of the same DT. Would that make it a possibility that any/all of them could potentially be infected?

Also, do you know if I can dose metro with the NFG, or do I need to do water changes and run carbon before switching?

If the clowns developed brook whilst in the DT, any tankmates could have potentially been infected.

And yes, you can dose metro + NFG concurrently.

Yes I believe it was contracted in the DT. I originally thought I was just doing the fallow period for ich. Now I see there was a lot more going on than I thought.

Quick update, I just received the fritz aquatics quick cure.
There is nothing indicating the strength of the product. It only lists the active ingredients as formaldehyde and malachite green.

I am still waiting for the quick ich x product to arrive.

Another update, I contacted fritz aquatics directly and they stated that the product I received is indeed 18.5% formaldehyde.

I am becoming more curious if it would be possible or cost effective to try and obtain a higher concentration of formaldehyde and dilute it to 37% similar to others who dilute their own hydrogen peroxide.
