wondering if copperband will bother certain lps

i was thinking of adding a cbb to my tank to take care of astapia, but i wanted to know if it would bother my frogspawn or a maze favia.

if you feed the LPS and the butterfly learns that a meal can be found there, the fish may learn to begin grazing on the coral, its happened to me with more than CBBs, red sea sailfin, leatherjacket filefish all 3 have had a turn eating my acans.

My cbb doesn't bother frogspawn - I don't have a favia.

I added a CBB not long ago to help me with some aiptasias and he went right for my acans instead.

It all depends on the fish habit.
But I won't take that chance.

I had one that ate acans, euphyllia and clams. IME if it eats aptasia it will eat other polyps as well.
