id say about 4mm wasnt in dark area, added a new wave maker stronger flow and thats when i noticed in that night, will check old photos to see if it was always there, here is a photo for size reference

all my tank atm is rock on the bottom , so i guess all my rock work could be considered dark

Definitely not aptasia. Actually looks like the small hydroids I had pop up on my rocks at one point early on. I’m guessing it’s a hydroid. If it is, it shouldn’t be a problem.

sadly its just a fake decoration, i like to add some blinge until i get a prettier tank, and my fish like this soft glow stuff

glad to hear most people saying its not aiptasia i wanted to run in and pull out my one tiny piece of live rock, but its got a leather toadstool coral, that hopefully is still alive, a feather duster worm which i love and somewhere was a tiny tiny sea cucumber
