Hard to say from the pics, but I’d guess either a feather duster or one of the large vermetid snail species - does anything come out of the tube? If so, what does it look like?

Looks a lot like a tube worm that came in on one of my micromussa. Not a feather duster and grows pretty fast but doesn’t seem to spread. Just keeps growing over itself. No idea what it is though. I’m waiting for the coral to grow over it at this point.

I know it’s a bad picture but I was taking it fast.

Does it look like a circle of feathers/tentacles, or does it look like a long string of mucus?

It’s probably a feather duster then.

Difficult to tell from the pics, especially not being able to see the "crown". If more tentacle like, as opposed to feathery it could be a small medusa worm, which is actually a type of cucumber. Has it moved, or is it stationary? If stationary, then probably a feather duster.

Need pics under white lights. Could be a tube fan worm or similar. Does it look like this. Fan color can vary.
