Wondering what this is or what caused it

Hello all. Today i noticed a discolored patch on my mystery wrasse. Is it an injury, or a sign of some disease? I’ve circled the patch, and took a picture of his other side to compare. Maybe I’m mistaken, but I don’t think I saw it like that before.

Is the scales raised up? Could be bacterial. Hard to tell.
